The First Scientific Workshop of CORE
The first Scientific Workshop of CORE was successfully held on 18 October 2019. Chaired by the Centre Director, Prof. Jianping GAN, the meeting started by the introduction of the missions and research strategies of CORE. Followed by that, over 30 collaborators from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), City University of Hong Kong (CityU), and University of Macau (UM) gave their presentations in their research areas. By assembling the expertise of all top oceanic, atmospheric and ecological experts in Hong Kong-Macau, CORE will bring our scientific research and innovation in HKUST as well as Hong Kong-Macau to a new level.
