WavyOcean V2.0 is set to be officially released in April. Let's embark on an extraordinary journey of the " One-Day immersive tour of Hong Kong water " ahead of time!

Based on the previously developed multi-source ocean visualization system WavyOcean (https://ocean.hkust.edu.hk:8443/SiteMapApi/new/index.jsp), Prof. Gan Jianping of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology led his research teams, with the joint support of the Earth-HK project(AoE/P-601/23-N) and the Center for Ocean Research in Hong Kong and Macau (CORE) has further upgraded the three-dimensional, immersive visualization effects of WavyOcean for ocean environments. They have also developed modules for land surface river networks and atmospheric conditions, enabling a more precise understanding of the past, present, and future Earth system of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
