CORE delegation visited ITB, Indonesia
CORE delegation visited Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology to develop ocean-centric research collaborations
Center of Ocean Research in Hong Kong and Macau (CORE) delegation had a two-day visit to Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FEST), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to develop bilateral research cooperation between ITB and Hong Kong. Led by Prof. Jianping Gan, the Director of CORE, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with ITB faculty members and students.
During the visit, CORE members held discussions with the Oceanography Research Group at ITB to explore new opportunities for collaboration. Prof. Gan also delivered a guest lecture titled "Challenges and Mitigation of Eutrophication and Hypoxia off Hong Kong Waters" to share some latest research developments of CORE.
Overall, the visit was highly successful in fostering closer ties between CORE and ITB, and we look forward to further collaboration in the future.
